This section of the syllabus will be devoted to ideas for themes for a year of books for your book club. I have amassed so many themes with full book lists from which to choose, that members of my book club may not live long enough to enjoy them all! Oh, of course that’s not the reason — the real reason is we may not ever choose some of them so why not put the ideas out there for others to use. We’ve really enjoyed our 2018 travel across America, I’m looking forward to 2019’s exploration of women’s debut literature and I’m excited to share other, as yet, untried ideas.
